B.G. THE PRINCE OF RAP aka Bernard Greene

​

  Since 1985 this native American born in Washington DC, has been living in Germany, and like so many artists before him, the U.S. Army brought him to Europe. After he left the Army, he began to perform as a singer and dancer and started his music career in the Frankfurter Dance Scene in Germany. Big role for his international success have played the popular producers Jam El Mar and Stefan Benz.

  His first official single in 1990 was "Rap to the World", followed by "Give Me The Music" and "Take Control Of The Party". His first album was titled "The Power Of Rhythm" (1991). 

His biggest success in the USA came in 1991 when he reached N1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play Chart with his 4th single "This Beat Is Hot". The single made it to #72 on the Hot 100 and #44 on the Hot Black Singles Chart. "Take Control Of the Party" repeated it by reaching #2 on the Dance Chart the following year. After this huge success in the States he was invited to support the tour of Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch, the hip-house band of Mark Walberg which was very popular at that time.

  Eurodance music brought him back on the dance scene in 1994 with the hits "Can We Get Enough", "The Colour Of My Dreams" and "Can't Love You" from the second album entitled "The Time Is Now".

  Two years later, B.G. recorded his third studio album entitled "Get The Groove On".

  After a long musical break, in 2010 B.G. and Janet Taylor were featured on Michael Thomas' new single "We Stood In Flames".

  In 2016 B.G. announced his Comeback with the new single "No Limits" featured by his long-time female singer Janet Taylor, and some live performances at different 90's music events. This single matched the start of his work with Dmn Records. Chart Peaks: # 03 at Eurodance Hitlist Top 50, # 39 at Austria Dance Chart Top 100, N#67 at Swiss Dance Chart Top 100. Some months later he joined his music coleague Lane McCray of La Bouche for the single  I Can Feel It.

  Almost a year later in 2017 comes out the new single "Never Give Up" featured by the talented female singer Timi Kullai (Music Idol Winner) and the uprising house producer Chrizz Morisson. B.G. is very busy in the studio recording plenty of new songs which will suprise you. Stay tuned !
